It’s that time of year again, as the leaves turn brown and the cold air makes its way across the football pitch, signifying the end of the IKO England Amputee Football League.
However, there is still one more game week left to play to decide who will be crowned kings of England this year.
This weekend (28th September) Portsmouth and Everton will battle it out in a must win game for Pompey but a must not lose for the Toffees to decide the title.
Everton currently, sit on that throne but Portsmouth are breathing down the Amputoffees’ necks just three points behind in second place.
Chelsea will go into their final two fixtures of the season hopeful of getting their first points on the board and now boast a Champions League winner in their side in Harry Ash.
The last round of fixtures gave Everton their lead, after convincing defeats against Portsmouth (5-0) and Chelsea (6-1) last time out.
The Merseyside club will have faith that they can go out and do the same again to get the job done and earn their first domestic piece of silverware for the season.
Pompey will see this weekend as an opportunity to get the quadruple done, having already lifted the FA Disability Cup, IKO EAFA League Cup and IKO EAFL Cup earlier this year.
It will, as ever, be an exciting round of fixtures and you can be apart of it live by following all our social channels and tuning in to the live stream.
