The England Amputee Football Association are delighted to announce the appointment of Scott Rogers as interim Head Coach.
Rogers, who has spent the last two years amongst the coaching team emerged as the outstanding candidate following a thorough application process.
The EAFA Committee said: “We are delighted to appoint Scott Rogers as the new interim Head Coach of The England Amputee Football Association National Team.
“We believe Scott is the ideal candidate to progress the National Team ahead of this year’s Nations League whilst also supporting ahead of a very important and exciting transition for the team which we are looking forward to sharing in the near future.”
Rogers said: “It is an honour to be given the opportunity to lead this very talented team into the Nations League next year. We have worked hard over the past two years, under the incredible guidance of Owen Coyle, to develop a positive culture and a world class programme that gives the players the best opportunity to achieve success at the very highest level.
“My role now is to continue to embed this programme and ensure that the team continues to progress and ultimately works towards success at major competitions.”
