The IKO EAFL goes on tour, with gameweek five to be hosted by Newcastle at Wallsend Boys Club.
Famous for producing many professional players and England internationals, Wallsend Boys Club alumni includes Alan Shearer, Michael Carrick, Peter Beardsley and Elliott Anderson.
But this weekend Wallsend Boys Club will showcase amputee football, as the best players in the country head to Tyneside.
Newcastle will look to use their home advantage on Saturday (30th August) to pick up points as The IKO EAFL enters the business end of the season.
Re-joining the league in 2025, Newcastle have faced tough opposition but continue to grow as they build their experience. A home crowd could be just what they need to spur them on to victory.
Their opening fixture is against table toppers Everton. The Amputoffees have produced a six point gap on the chasing pack as they aim to retain their league title. Boasting plenty of England internationals in their ranks, Everton will be focused on putting themselves in prime position to finish the job in the final gameweek.

Portsmouth travel the length of the country with a view to stopping their Merseyside rivals with only two gameweeks remaining in The IKO EAFL calendar.
Pompey’s narrow one goal loss to Everton in May has left them plenty to do, but can take inspiration from the league leaders who themselves turned the tide in the final few fixtures of the 2024 season.
Chelsea have gone from strength to strength in the 2025 season and have built momentum heading into the weekend.
Lifting both The IKO EAFA Cup and The Disability FA Cup over the last few months, Chelsea will hope to take their cup heroics and apply it to their league form. Having beaten Everton in two finals, they pose an ever increasing threat to their opponents on Saturday.
Spectators are welcome to attend the six exciting IKO EAFL fixtures at Wallsend Boys Club on Saturday, with free entry for all.
The EAFA thanks our league sponsors IKO PLC UK for their support in showcasing amputee football.
