This weekend’s camp concludes a memorable year for the national team as the Lions regroup at the Home of Amputee Football for the final time in 2023.

There have been plenty of celebratory camps for this group of players on their way to enjoying England’s most successful year in over three decades as they claimed the Nations League trophy in the summer as well as narrowly missing out on the Amp Futbol Cup in September.

However, it’ll be business as usual to wrap up the campaign with attention firmly fixed on a busy 2024 schedule with the European Championships in France as well as the possibility of a Tri-Nations tournament on home turf.

The camp will be a chance for new recruits in different departments to continue their work, as staff aim to perfect the world-class environment that head coach Scott Rogers has been so keen to create for the players since his appointment.

Most notably, the medical department has its fair share of new faces but a long-standing member of the charity, Gary Faber, will take charge of his first camp as head of medical.

On the pitch, the lads will be hoping for a strong performance to finish the year to ensure their place in the manager's thinking as Scott and his technical staff begin to align their squad.
