EAFA League Cup To Be Streamed Across EAFA Social Channels

The EAFA League Cup brings the domestic season to a close as Everton, Portsmouth and Chelsea battle for glory - you can watch the action on Saturday via the England Amputee FA socials thanks to FilmMyMatch.

Everton were crowned EAFA League champions in August following a 2-1 win over arch-rivals Portsmouth, but there is one last piece of silverware up for grabs in 2023.

Despite Everton’s league win, Pompey have won the EAFL Cup on back-to-back occasions and will be looking to add a fourth in their history. But, Chelsea have a chance to lay down the marker, opening the weekend's fixtures, hoping to heap the pressure on the other two blue heavyweights.

Reaseheath College will see all three teams face each other in a group stage format from 12:30pm on Saturday (30th September).

Chelsea and Portsmouth will kick off proceedings, followed by Everton and Chelsea at 14:00. The EAFL Cup will then finish with Portsmouth versus Everton at 15:30.

Each tie is expected to be highly contested, with goal difference deciding the outcome if points are level. However, in the event of the same points and goals, in order, the winners will be decided by head-to-head results, where goals for and against come into play. If still level, red cards and yellow cards are considered to crown a winner.

In partnership with FilmMyMatch, The EAFL Cup will be live-streamed so you can follow all the action as it happens. FilmMyMatch started in 2012 by bringing high-quality video options to grassroots sports.

The Stockport-based sports broadcast company expanded to provide footage for live-streaming, content and analysis to a wide range of organisations including elite sports teams, associations, leagues and even YouTube teams.

FilmMyMatch will ensure you don’t miss a kick, using their HI-POD camera mast system which captures every detail from heights of up to 30ft.

Fresh from the Amp Futbol Cup in Poland, there are plenty of current England national team members in Chelsea, Portsmouth and Everton’s ranks, with bragging rights adding an extra edge to the competition.

Fixtures take place at Reaseheath College, CW5 6DF and supporters are welcome to attend.
