The Disability FA Cup returns to St. George’s Park on Saturday (27th June) as Chelsea and Cambridge City compete for cup glory.
Broadcasted on TNT Sports & HBO Max, the competition showcases amputee football with the spotlight firmly on the players for the 10am kick-off. Tickets are available here.
Chelsea are looking to retain the trophy and continue their impressive form, while Cambridge City will work hard to come out on top in their first Disability FA Cup appearance.
Chelsea’s success has been built on the solid foundations and leadership of Harry Ash, allowing exciting players in Sofyan Filali, Matt Dean and Charlie Hewson to flourish in The Londoners attack.

Sofyan Filali won the penalty that led to Chelsea’s opener in last season’s final before assisting the winner to seal a 2-0 victory over Everton. Lifting The Disability FA Cup trophy for the first time in their history was the catalyst for Chelsea’s unbeaten run that lasted 15 games across all competitions.
They then enlisted Hewson for his debut EAFL season, a youngster who, like Filali and Dean, takes players on to provide goals and assists. Chelsea have never looked back and have bagged The EAFL title with three games to spare and hold a 100% record in 2026’s league fixtures.
It is also Cambridge City’s debut season in The England Amputee Football League and Saturday is their first Disability FA Cup final. While they boast a number of players who won the competition in 2024, The Lilywhites want to write their own piece of history at St. George’s Park.
The link-up between TJ Yates and Jamie Tregaskiss is a well established threat for their opponents, with them trading goals and assists yet again this season. England’s number one Thomas Atkinson is a phenomenal shot-stopper whose distribution to Yates can also provide a direct route to success.
Despite coming into the tie as the underdogs, a status that suits Cambridge City, they possess all the tools to rip up the form book and finish the morning as winners.

It promises to be an exciting matchup, showcasing the very best of amputee football, and is not to be missed.
You can watch The Disability FA Cup live on TNT Sports & HBO Max, with the amputee final kicking-off at 10am on Saturday. Tickets for the game at St. George’s Park are available here.
