Following the England National team’s inaugural Nations League triumph in June, the squad were recently invited to parade the trophy around Old Trafford (Manchester United FC stadium) during the Red Devils’ league cup game against Crystal Palace.
Players and staff were treated to a night of hospitality at the ’Theatre of Dreams’ as they enjoyed a three-course meal in Treble Suite alongside United legends Gary Pallister and Wes Brown, before taking their seats to watch the match action under the lights.
Amputee football is steadily finding its audience amongst football fans; it is without a doubt that such a gesture will only aid the visibility of EAFA. We thank Manchester United for their hospitality and wish them all the best for the rest of the season.
